Conditioning of America – More Deceptive Governmental Spying & Cell Phone Tracking
When consumers purchase a smart phone they are usually sold on the features of Internet access, video recording, text messaging, apps, and more. What the big business cell phone companies don’t tell you is that you are purchasing a highly technical tracking device that the government and cell phone companies use to track and database you while recording your every locational move. These convenient gadgets keep a record of everywhere you go — a record the government can then get from your telephone company who sells and markets the spying devices as they condition the public to accept this new form of tyranny.
Last week, a federal appeals court ruled that in some cases, the government may need a search warrant in some instances but had total disregard for the fact that the device records, tracks, and stores an ongoing log of your life’s moves. Your phone company can then database the information which can be used at a later date against you. The law is unclear about how easy it should be for government to get its hands on this locational data according to a report by Time News. Although the ruling is a slight step in the right direction, it should have been stated “every time” they need a search warrant to access the information.
When leaving your home with your phone, whether it be attending church, school, shopping, an anonymous meeting, a dentist appointment, driving around, or hanging at a friend’s house, you are being tracked and databased like a prisoner without the physical bars.
When you carry a cell phone, it is constantly sending signals about your location and “pings” nearby cell-phone towers approximately every seven seconds so it can be ready to make and receive calls. The phone is also telling the phone company that owns the towers where you are at that very moment — data the company then stores in a database. There is also a second kind of locational data tracking and spying that phone companies have, thanks to a GPS chip that is embedded in most smart phones now. This is even more accurate — unlike the towers, which can only pinpoint a general area where you may be, GPS can often reveal exactly where you are at any given moment within a matter of meters.
Tracking your every move can be considered a good deed in cases of accidents, abductions, or other incidences that tracking might come in handy to have your location pinpointed but it is clearly more conditioning to the public as “your safety” is the justifiable reasoning. Critics argue that it is a violation of privacy and that the phone companies lure people into purchasing smart phones without notifying them that they will be tracked and databased every second of every day.
Cell phones can give more information to the government when revealing your location and could one day use the cell phone data to stifle dissent. These records could tell them who attended an anti-government rally, a Truth movement rally, tell them who is going into the opposition party’s headquarters, or even into the home of someone they have questions about. Cell-phone data may be the most efficient and technological way ever invented for a government to spy on its people — since people are planting the devices on themselves and even paying the monthly bills it seems justifiable to a government that has no regard for the Constitution and Bill of Rights in America…
